Dr. Chitra Dhawan has over 30 years of experience (1990–2022) as a General Practitioner (Family Medicine) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, working with government entities under Ambulatory Healthcare Services (SEHA), Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, and the Ministry of Health Abu Dhabi. She also worked for two years at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Originally from India, Dr. Chitra completed her medical education with an MBBS and a two-year Postgraduate Diploma (DCP) from GSVM Medical College, India.

She is highly experienced in all aspects of family medicine, covering pediatric to geriatric care, acute and chronic diseases, mental health conditions, routine medical cases, maternal and child health, women’s health screening programs, and health education and management.

With her extensive experience in family practice in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Chitra possesses the ideal combination of skills to help patients assess their health risks, prevent premature health issues, and manage their conditions through a personalized, patient-centered care plan.
