Dr. Hiam Harfoush is a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology with over 30 years of 
extensive clinical experience across major government and private hospitals in Syria and 
the United Arab Emirates. She earned her MD from Tishreen University, Syria (1988) and 
completed the Syrian Board in Obstetrics & Gynecology, establishing a solid academic and 
clinical foundation in women’s health.

Dr. Harfoush specializes in the management of high-risk pregnancies, offering 
comprehensive antenatal care, intrapartum monitoring, and performing normal, 
instrumental, and surgical deliveries. She has advanced expertise in managing 
gynecological diseases, including infections, abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause 
disorders, hormonal imbalance, and cervical pathology.
She is proficient in hysteroscopy and colposcopy, supported by a formal Course in 
Hysteroscopy and specialized training in Aesthetic Gynecology. She has also completed 
advanced training in the management of third- and fourth-degree perineal tears, enhancing 
her skills in complex obstetric repair and pelvic floor recovery.

Dr. Harfoush holds a Diploma in Ultrasound (USG) in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Sharjah 
University, and is experienced in performing both gynecological ultrasonography and 
detailed fetal ultrasound examinations across all pregnancy trimesters. She has also 
completed the First Part MRCOG, reflecting her dedication to professional development 
and evidence-based clinical practice.
