Dr. Jassem Abdou is a French Board–certified pulmonologist and graduate of the prestigious Université de Lille (France). He began his medical career in France, where he gained extensive experience in respiratory and internal medicine before moving to Abu Dhabi to continue serving patients with dedication and care. With over 30 years of experience, including 18 years at Zayed Military Hospital, Dr. Abdou has become one of the UAE’s most trusted specialists in respiratory health. He later served as Head of the Pulmonary Department at Healthpoint Hospital and Reem Hospital, helping to advance the quality of pulmonary care across the country. Today, as Head of the Pulmonary Department at Advanced Cure Medical Center, Dr. Abdou provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for asthma, COPD, sleep disorders, and other lung conditions. His clinical expertise includes performing bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests, and sleep studies, ensuring patients receive accurate evaluations and personalized care. Dr. Abdou is an active member of both the European Respiratory Society and the Emirates Respiratory Society. He has also taught medical students and residents within the Arab Board program, sharing his expertise and passion for clinical excellence with the next generation of physicians. He has contributed to several publications and research studies on asthma and the epidemiology of COPD in the UAE, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing respiratory medicine in the region.
