Dr. Leila brings with her a strong academic foundation and over two decades of clinical experience.
She graduated from the University of Medicine of Tunis and has been specialized in Endocrinology since 2001.
She is also European Board Certified in Endocrinology.
She has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Medicine of Tunis for over 15 years and held the position of
Head of the Endocrinology Department at the National Institute of Nutrition, Tunis, from 2017 to 2018. From April 21, 2019, to July 13, 2025,
she worked as a Specialist Endocrinologist at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where she also served as the Internship Program Director for three academic years.
Dr. Leila has completed postgraduate training in Pituitary Diseases from Paris XI (2004), a Diploma in Thyroidology from Lille, France (2010),
and training in Therapeutic Education (2016–2017). She is a member of both the European Society of Endocrinology and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE).
Her professional interests include managing all types of diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, and gestational), thyroid diseases (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and goitres),
pituitary disorders (acromegaly, hyperprolactinemia, hypopituitarism, diabetes insipidus), growth and pubertal development issues (short stature, delayed or precocious puberty),
adrenal gland conditions (Cushing’s syndrome, Addison’s disease, adrenal tumors, pheochromocytoma, hyperaldosteronism), reproductive endocrinology (menstrual irregularities, PCOS),
calcium disorders, parathyroid dysfunction, and lipid disorders.

She will officially begin seeing patients on Sunday, August 10, 2025, and her clinic will be located in Branch 2.
