Malek Gharasibeh

Malek is a highly experienced Senior Speech-Language Pathologist with over 13 years of clinical expertise in treating communication and swallowing disorders across adult and pediatric populations. He is certified in Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS) and VitalStim therapy, with strong clinical skills in both diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to dysphagia management.

His areas of specialization include post-stroke swallowing difficulties, aphasia, and apraxia of speech, as well as voice disorders and developmental speech and language delays in children. He also works extensively with fluency disorders such as stuttering and cluttering, attention and concentration difficulties, and selective mutism.

In his leadership role as Head of Pediatric Rehabilitation, Malek oversees a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering holistic, child-centered therapy that supports both developmental and communication goals.

Fluent in Arabic and English, he is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, individualized care that empowers patients and families. His therapy approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, collaboration, and a strong commitment to improving quality of life through functional communication and swallowing support.
